ShopCadence guide

What you need before installing a WooCommerce automation

Start with one result, a runtime and a controlled test.

Write the recurring task in plain language: “I want a daily owner email summarising new orders.” Identify who reads it and which fields are useful. This avoids building a broad integration when one small output would do.

Prepare the connection

Record store versions, relevant plugins, approximate order/product volume and an IANA timezone. Use your own n8n environment and dedicated read-only API credentials. Connect secrets directly in its credential interface.

Make the first test specific

For an order brief, include different statuses, more than 100 records for pagination, mixed currencies and a day boundary. A failed second page must not produce a successful empty day. Preview without email, then inspect a marked test result.

Plan the stop before the start

Know how to disable the schedule, where state lives and how to recover an uncertain output. Importing JSON alone does not create all required accounts, tables or credentials.
